August 18, 2025: "Dong Mingzhu's Healthy Home" Expands Nationwide with New Store Openings

Since February 2025,the rebranding of Gree Electric's(000651.SZ)terminal stores to"Dong Mingzhu's Healthy Home"has been a topic of wide concern.On August 18,2025,it was reported that the concept is expanding rapidly across the country.After the grand opening of the Beijing flagship store in March,more stores are being established.​

Gree Electric plans to open 10,000"Dong Mingzhu's Healthy Home"stores nationwide,with the goal of completing 3,000 this year.These stores,which range from renovated existing channels to newly-built ones(both franchised and self-operated,currently mainly self-operated),are designed to be large-scale,typically 300-500 square meters.The stores feature five experience areas for air conditioners,refrigerators,washing machines,全屋water purification,and small home appliances,systematically presenting Gree's self-developed"healthy home ecological chain".​

For instance,the Beijing store,covering nearly 500 square meters,showcases a variety of products like air conditioners,refrigerators,washing machines,and the new-to-market Gree-branded refrigerators.According to Zhu Lei,the market director of Gree Electric,the storefront design is uniformly planned and produced by the headquarters,while also adapting to the specific characteristics of each city and its surrounding environment.This expansion indicates a new strategic direction for Gree in the home appliance market,focusing on the integration of health-related products and services in a comprehensive home experience.
